Don Pickens, General Manager I’ve been coming to Vallarta for 5 years now, and started Casa Cupula because I wanted to provide a wonderful place that would truly represent the best Vallarta has to offer. Not only have we engaged the best, local, gay designers to create the most luxurious and sophisticated guesthouse in Vallarta, but we’ve hired the greatest bilingual staff to make your stay as comfortable, warm, and memorable as possible. I truly enjoy helping people find new things in Vallarta they might not have otherwise found – a great restaurant, side trip, bar, beach or art gallery. There’s so much more to Vallarta than just the gay beach and usual nightclubs! I look forward to welcoming you to our guesthouse. Let me introduce our other staff:

		Roberto Uscanga, Assistant Manager Roberto is from Veracruz, the Carribean side of Mexico. You can tell he loves to cook when he makes the best guacamole you’ve ever had (these words are from a guest not me!) and whips up some wonderful and original Mexican botanas (snacks) for you. Roberto will greet you with that movie star smile, and make you feel relaxed and at home from the first moment you arrive. Roberto provides the pool service in the afternoons and arranges special dinners and events (see Events for details).

		Rodolfo Nava, Assistant Manager Rodolfo is my boyfriend from Guadalajara, and is shown here modeling the gym equipment at the Acqua Day Spa (see Spa Day for details). Rodolfo often works the morning shift, making your brunch as special as the food.

		Carlos Mendoza and Angelica Muñoz Carlos is the mozo (houseman) and Angelica is our primary housecleaner. Both are super sweet and work hard to make sure Casa Cupula is in the best shape for you. Don’t worry everyone is terribly gay friendly. Carlos has a gay brother and Angelica is just like one of your best girlfriends!
